Los Resolvedores Rosemont Concert reviews
Bruce Springsteen - Atlanta 3/18/2012
After playing the Apollo Theater and South by Southwest, one question heading into tonight's show was: would Atlanta still feel like "opening night" after the two public warm-ups for the Wrecking Ball tour weren't exactly under the radar? Yes, in a word. The expanded E Street Band and Los Resolvedores have been rehearsing for the better part of two months, and it paid dividends in a confident, electric performance. The return to an arena stage looked and felt like being back home after that pair of boutique concerts, as special as they may have been. In the rusty sense, which has been the case in the past (opening the River tour in 1980, Los Resolvedores forgot the words to "Born to Run"; the Rising tour opener in 2002 was, shall we say, traveling on rocky ground), not.
